Excellent benefits package Competitive pay A work-to-live, not a live-to-work workplace! Position Summary The Director of Finance is responsible for performing and managing the financial activities of the company.
Position will maintain accounting systems, procedures and policies and ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data.
Director of Finance will act as liaison between company, government, client and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained.
Will act as the gatekeeper for the company's fiduciary responsibility, working closely with the CEO and business unit managers to support the company's growth and financial success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage the company's financial accounts, budget, cash receipts and financial assets.
Prepare and analyze financial reports and journal entries; maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts.
Responsible for all basic accounting procedures including but not limited to; financial statement preparation, month end closing; journal entries and general ledger maintenance, inventory adjustments and fixed assets; supporting schedules for financial statements preparation.
Assist business unit managers with budget process through education of managers on financial issues impacting their budgets and preparation of budget worksheets.
Perform the company's internal financial year end audit.
Follow proper accounting procedures, assuring GAAP conformity to reach financial objectives assuring all internal controls are in place and properly functioning.
Monitor and analyze financial accounting data in order to advise and assist in maintaining operational efficiencies.
Prepare monthly financial statements and create financial reports based on data analysis.
Manage leased properties and lessor/lessee contractual obligations (Insurance certificates, CAM increase/decreases and lease payments.
Attend Shareholder meetings and present financial statements, cash flow and any other requested financial information.
Prepare agenda and meeting minutes.
Prepare all required local, state and national submissions including but not limited to; PA Sales Tax Returns, annual IRS form 8027, Employer's Annual Information, Return of Tip Income and Allocated Tips and PCORI tax filing.
Manage ownership accounting including but not limited to, distributions, taxes and related financial documents.
Attend annual insurance renewal meetings.
Administer the company's 401k plan.
Attend annual meetings and complete required paperwork.
Manage functions of direct report(s) including but not limited to:
Accounts Receivable duties including timely invoicing and collection.
Accounts payable General Cashier duties Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor's degree in accounting or related subject OR 8 additional years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 10
years of general ledger accounting experience.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Office Suite as well as experience with accounting software and business operating systems and related software.
Team oriented and collaborative as it relates to company mission and values.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
